I’ve been brainstorming a bunch of different things I want to write about here over the last few days, and I’m sort of at a cross roads. There are a bunch of coding related posts that I want to do up, and most of them will become actual series’ of posts because of the amount of detail I want to go into. I also have a few different case studies I want to write up, because some people have been asking me to do some and I think they could be pretty useful for people (I know I love seeing actual tangible reports of what people have done, not just fluff).
The coding stuff I can jump right into technically, but there are a few more fundamentals I want to go over before doing so. For the case studies, I want to go into a lot more detail with the other parts of Market Samurai, as I use that tool heavily when investigating and researching a new niche, and I don’t want to go into a case study and then have to take a step back to explain how to use the tool as well.
So as of now, here is my somewhat settled on game plan for moving forward. If anyone wants to chime in and let me know their thoughts on what they want to see or if they just plain don’t give a shit about some of the things I want to write about, please, jump on here and let me know. Here we go:
That should be a nice solid base for moving forward on other topics. As for case studies, here’s what I have so far:
I would imagine those two case studies will span at least a half dozen posts each, so they will take some time. But I don’t want to jump into them before I’ve written the other pieces from above because I want them to stay on track as much as possible and just get to the point.
I’m going to try and get at least one of those posts from the first list up tonight. Please comment on here if you want to see me go into anything specifically or add to the list.
Thanks!

I’d love to hear your thoughts on programming, especially in Ruby, and how you go about tackling SEM problems with code. Are you heavily into automation?
Both of these sound like great projects to tackle in article series.
Looking forward to it.

Appreciate it man. Sorry about being non-existent on IM for a while, been swamped
. I’ll hit you up this week though.
@snow poet…I have a few projects running right now that leverage automation pretty heavily. I lean more towards being able to bulk scrape/harvest data and information, but have also dabbled in link building. I’ll try and cover some of the concepts involved in those processes in posts in the future.
Thanks for reading though!
I’ve been doing SEO off-page link building and well, it’s quite rewarding.
