Back to Blogging Again…

I’ve tried blogging a few different times in the last couple of years. Each time, as I’m sure it goes with nearly every blogger, I go at it full blast and then realize “man, no one is actually reading this thing…” and then I find motivation quickly sprinting away from me. It’s the inherent issue with blogging: it’s hard to get an audience without content, and it’s hard to write more content when you have no audience.

In that last two years, I’ve gotten pretty seriously into programming and web development, and in the more recent past, have gotten really heavily involved in Internet Marketing, SEO, Local SEO, and Link Building, especially Automated Link Building. These topics all have hundreds of different facets and are really fascinating when viewed from the technical perspective, because they offer a tangible, monetizable use for a lot of seemingly abstract techniques and ideas. That boils down to fun for most tech guys.

So I decided to resurrect this old domain, and I’ve started off by ripping out all of my old posts and going to a simple, plain theme. Before, I wrote about some personal things as well as Development things, but this time around, it’s all Biz Nass. I’m going to be focusing on all of the above mentioned topics, as well as spending some time writing about some advanced uses for WordPress, because it has become a very dominant CMS and I spend all day hacking it one way or another so might as well chronicle my adventures.

So to anyone who subscribes to this blog (all 5 of you currently), sorry, but this thing’s gonna get really nerdy really fast. But that’s the nice part about growing up, you’re allowed to be nerdy and people can’t criticize you

I’ve already started asking around on Wickedfire for some blog topics, and have a good idea of things I want to write up anyways, so I’ll try and do my best and bring  some substance to this thing as frequently as possible. Please feel free to let me know what you want to see here, I’m definitely open to suggestions and want to actually contribute some value so I’m all ears (eyes?).

I’m going to try and kick this thing off with a real post tonight, depends on how far I get with other work.
